"Kunos coole Kunststoff-Kiste”In Germany, PlasticsEurope has developed a "Kunos coole Kunststoff-Kiste (experimental kit) for primary school pupils. It gives children the opportunity to discover the world of plastics through exciting experiments.

The pupils get to know the advantages of plastics by doing five experiments, that vary from manufacturing a polystyrene ball to making a pocket size waste water plant. "Kunos coole Kunststoff-Kiste” is a helpful tool in developing the natural science/physics skills at a primary school age (6~ 10).
The case includes all the materials required for experiments along with special tools. All experiments have been tested and approved so that they are suitable for use by children.
The pupils can independently gain experience on the innovative and multi-purpose raw material plastics. A special notebook gives the pupils step-by-step information about the experiments. Teachers can prepare themselves for each experiment by using the special teacher notebook.
Today, children naturally grow up with plastics. Whether it is Lego or Barbie, trendy sport shoes, roller blades or the latest CD. The world of children especially is concentrated around plastics. But what exactly are plastics? What is behind these totally different, omnipresent materials? The answer for primary schools is given with "Kunos coole Kunststoff-Kiste”.
