Rome to host Identiplast 2015

The European benchmark event for plastics waste recycling & recovery

After London, Madrid, Warsaw and Paris, IdentiPlast will continue its tour in Europe and heads towards its next destination: Rome on 29 and 30 April 2015. The event is organised jointly by PlasticsEurope, American Chemistry Council (ACC), Plastic Waste Management Institute (PWMI), Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) and in partnership with the European Plastics Recycling and Recovery Organisations (epro).

IdentiPlast 2015 again will gather leading international experts to share their knowledge so as to identify the key drivers to reach a zero plastics waste society and to analyse its role within the circular economy. The event will provide a dynamic forum where delegates will discuss and identify the challenges and opportunities that the circular economy initiative offers. Further-more, IdentiPlast 2015 will showcase the latest cutting-edge advances in sorting, recycling and recovery technologies for plastics.

Since its start in 1997, IdentiPlast has established itself as the number one event in Europe dealing with the recycling and recovery of plastics waste. It’s the place where "best practices” in the management of plastics waste are exchanged between all relevant stakeholders. There-fore, the conference is particularly relevant to local authorities and municipailities from all across Europe , policy makers, waste management organisations, plastics recyclers, manufacturers, converters and compounders, but also to OEMs, academia and research institutes and of course to NGOs.

The detailed 2015 conference programme is to be found under www.identiplast.eu or plasticseurope.org.
