Hanane Taidi appointed Director of Communications at PlasticsEurope

PlasticsEurope, the pan-European trade association representing European plastics manufacturers, has announced the appointment of Hanane Taidi as Director of Communications for Europe. Before taking up this position, Hanane had held the role of Head of Communications at PlasticsEurope. Her appointment is effective as of 1 December 2012.  

"I am extremely pleased that Hanane has agreed to lead PlasticsEurope’s communications efforts in Europe”, said Dr Wilfried Haensel, Executive Director, PlasticsEurope. "Her in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our industry and her expertise in communications are huge assets to the industry.”

Hanane Taidi added: "I am very excited about taking on this responsibility. The plastics industry is a key European economic actor and we need to do more to communicate the benefits of our material while enhancing dialogue with our stakeholders on important issues. I look forward to continuing to work with PlasticsEurope’s experienced and enthusiastic team in pursuing these goals”.

A graduate of Ablemalik Essaadi University and Charles de Gaulle Lille III University with a degree in English Language and Literature, Hanane Taidi started her career at PlasticsEurope 13 years ago. Since then she has gained extensive experience across a range of communication disciplines and has been responsible for the coordination of both internal and external communications programmes across 27 countries. An accomplished linguist, Hanane speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic to native speaker level.
