World Plastics Council announces new website; centralised recources for members

At a meeting of its Executive Committee in China on October 20th, the World Plastics Council (WPC) announced the launch of a new website (www.worldplasticscouncil.org) to provide a central location for its members, partners and others to learn more about the group and quickly access relevant industry reports, news and other resources.  The site is designed to provide a user-friendly, comprehensive experience for global visitors.  It is optimized for ease of navigation and across multiple devices, including desktop, tablet and mobile.

"We’re pleased to launch a platform to showcase the work of the WPC to the public,” said WPC Chairman, Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh (SABIC).  "As we grow, the site will increasingly serve as a powerful tool for our members as well, providing a place where members can share knowledge, resources, and experience related to our work.”

The recently formed World Plastics Council is a forum for global industry leaders from resin producing companies to accelerate cooperation and alignment and to deliver improved outcomes for the benefit of society and the global plastics industry in general. It is committed to contributing to solutions to the global marine litter and other challenges. As an example, WPC supports the G-7 Leaders’ marine litter action plan, as well as action implementation initiatives like the global Marine Litter Solutions Coalition.
